Guest post: Darth Pickles on things we fucking hate.

Evening guys, Aarika from Darth Pickles is the latest add an instalment of rage to the things we fucking hate series. She had a lot of rage and couldn't stick to one subject, so here she is with 5 things she fucking hates!

Maybe I'm easily annoyed, but I couldn't pick just one thing, so I decided to go with "5 things that really pluck at my nerves."

1. I know we just came through the election and all, but I am so incredibly tired of the ten miles of political propaganda I have to scroll though on my facebook/tumblr/twitter feed. I also can't help feeling like every one of those posted is a passive aggressive attempt at trolling, because everyone that posts one is just hoping, even if it's a teeny, tiny bit, that someone will have the audacity to challenge or disagree with them.
2. "Homophobes." I AM QUOTING HERE, but stop calling it "homophobia." You are not afraid of anything, you're just an intolerant douchebag.
3. People that don't understand the difference between indoor and outdoor voice. Children AND adults. Seriously, regulate your volume.
4. Unibrows. Seriously?! Get yourself some tweezers and handle that caterpillar situation on your face ASAP.
5. Juggalos. I really, really try to be tolerant of others and stand by "to each his own" but honestly, anyone who has ever donned a hatchet man should probably just be wiped off the planet.

Guest post: Pink Wonderland on things we fucking hate.

Good evening all! Ready for another instalment of things we fucking hate? Yes, yes you are. Today we have Kelsea and her woes on moving. Enjoy! Also, if anyone would like to get involved in this, please just drop me a message, its a lot of fun and it would be great to hear from you.

When Daisy contacted me about Things I Fucking Hate Saturday, I thought about what is pissing me off lately. And I realised that I can't think about anything right now except for how much I detest moving. I think most people would agree there's not much in life that's more of a pain in the ass. All that stuff you own that looks reasonable when hidden away inside drawers suddenly turns into huge mountains of things when you have to move it. Then you're packing up stuff, and halfway through, you run out of tape or boxes or both. You spend a painful week packing your life up into cardboard boxes and all of your energy moving them from one place to the next... and what's your reward? Cleaning, paying for things like paint and changing locks... and unpacking! I'm officially over it. Don't be surprised if in a year, I am still digging through boxes for my work outfit in the morning.

Guest post: My Mod Style on things we fucking hate.

Hello again, Here is another post on things we fucking hate, Jessie's post definately spoke to me, I admit I have been the same in the past. Its hard to make yourself watch these things becuase it is easier to ignore the truth. But you'll be glad you started taking notice when you do. Enjoy!

Where do I start?  A few years ago I didn't give a shit about the environment.  I didn't educate myself on issues and the things happening around me.  I lived my life like most: in denial or I guess you could also say, "Ignorance is Bliss."  That doesn't work for me anymore.  I am so annoyed by the lack of caring in the world and pure laziness.  It pisses me off, makes me depressed and raises my blood pressure on a daily basis.  If we don't start caring or educating ourselves about the things happening to our planet, there will be no life anymore for anyone.  End of story.  Recycling is easy, DO IT.  Get Netflix and watch all the documentaries that they have to do with nature and environmental issues.  Your eyes will be opened and you will be changed forever!  It takes more effort to care about things, but somebodies gotta do it before it's too late.  You can choose to be part of the problem or be part of the solution! :) Our future relies on it.

Guest post: The Quiet Owl on things we fucking hate.

Hello my angry little loves. Ready for some more grumpy rants? I know I certainly am, and here is one I totally fucking agree with from the wonderful Karen. Enjoy kids.

Seriously people.
Don't let your kids run around unattended in the thrift store.  For one, I assume if you pay no attention to where your kids are while you're in public, you could give two shits about them.  I guess you are under the impression that your kids are so misbehaved that no one would try to take them, but I'm pretty sure the creepy old guy that just told your kid that he has puppy dogs and ice cream in his van doesn't care.  Secondly, never let your kid ride any kind of bike, scooter, car, ect... around in a store.  No one thinks it's cute.  Also, don't let your kids play with the toys in the thrift store.  For one, they are covered in germs (for god's sake, don't let them put the toys in their mouth either.  Blah....).  You also need to be aware that while you're looking at those jeans that are 4 sizes too small for you, your kid is sitting in the middle of the aisle with 50 dinosaurs spread out on the floor blocking my way, and you're just going to leave them sitting there until a poor employee has to pick them up.  Also, if I happen to accidentally stick my foot out and trip your kids while they're running at full force playing tag, don't be blame me.  You should have been watching them.  Oh wait, you were watching them, you're just more concerned about whatever you were doing to care.  Thrift stores play that "all children under the age of 12 must by accompanied by a parent at all times" message for a reason.  And do they really have to tell you to watch your children?  Just do it because it's the right thing to do.  Ok, I feel much better now.  Thanks Daisy!!!

Guest post: Adrian Loves Owls on things we fucking hate.

Evening! tonight I'm posting my first guest post on "Things we fucking hate"! I'm really enjoying rage blogging these days so i reached out with my little creeper feelers to my fellow bloggers and asked what pisses everyone else off, Ive had some brilliant replies and I'll be posting them all this month! So, lets get started with the beautiful Adrian and her views on fucking pedestrians!

I fucking hate pedestrians.
Not all pedestrians, just the stupid ones. You know, the ones that take their sweet ass time crossing the street when you’re trying to make a left turn across the intersection. Don’t you kind of just want to run them over? (Maybe that’s just me.) Or what about the pedestrians that do what I call “the fake out”? I hate those fuckers. They’re the idiots at the intersection that wait for the “walk” sign and then don’t do anything. They just fucking stand there. And then, just as you start to turn they decide, “oh, I think I’ll cross now,” so you slam on your breaks and you wait…and wait….and wait because they’re slow as fuck and don’t give a shit about anyone else. If you’re going to be stupid and indecisive about crossing the damn street, the least you could do is walk fast. I mean come on, people! If I’m walking across the street and I’m holding up traffic, you better be sure that I’m walking quickly. I hate having people wait on me and, if you can’t tell, I hate waiting on other people!

Bethany Riddle: STOP HOOTING.

Hey guys, today i am doing my very first guest post. I asked my gorgeous friend Bethany Riddle to write a piece for my blog. I first met Beth when we were working together doing set design for a friends film. We instantly clicked and I'm so glad i met her. I asked her specifically because i knew whatever she would have to say would be without a doubt hilarious. I'm so glad i got her to do this, it is brilliant, hope you guys enjoy it, i know i certainly did. Cue very very old picture of the day we first met!
So here it is guys, enjoy!

Firstly I have to start out by saying I’m not normally one for writing things down that bother me. The reason being if I can see them as well as think them I start throwing things at the beautiful furniture in my home as if the mess that I create will unfurl the reason as to why everyone is a fucking moron.
Gorgeous Daisy asked me to write something so I could contribute some of my bitchy angst into her stunning blog and I’ve chosen a topic right on cue!
A little introduction about me is probably recommended before you think I’m a tiny shorts wearing, heavy shoe stomping student. Nothing against students but like Daisy said, we don’t want to see your arse hole.

I am 19 years old. I live in a beautiful little historical town. I live with my drop dead gorgeous boyfriend and we both work at a cinema (don’t even). I am unequivocally happy with my little insignificant life... but there are a few things that make me want to siege every day.

BOYS
Just because you own a penis doesn’t mean you’re a man by any means.

The main problem through my early teens was my constant disappointment that the boys from other schools never wore britches and rode on horseback. They wore tracksuit bottoms, rode on ‘peds’ and made me want to vomit into my own eyes. So I was never interested in boys.

The one thing.. the ONE thing that I cannot stand and makes me furious is when BOYS ‘hoot’ at girls in public.
(note I'm emphasising BOYS as opposed to MEN, even the word MEN makes me want to grab my man and take him down to china town for some noodles and lovin! MEN ride horseback and have long coats)
The ‘hooting’ began when lumps of painful wobbly fell from my chest and into impossible to find bras and when my hips decided they would redecorate and accommodate the exact measurements I would need for future crowning purposes. Then it started.
Here’s my summary of this experience in my humble life.

Male perspective and Objects reaction
Alright luv!  Oh brilliant, a casual raping on a Saturday afternoon just what I was hoping for

Give us a smile!! So they can recognise my body when it’s wheeled out on an oven tray in the mortuary tomorrow, no thank you

NICE!!!  Ruined the word nice for me and you’ve made me feel like a sugary biscuit

WHHHHEEEYYYYY Have I pooted? That’s the only appropriate time for that much cheering in public

Cheer up love!! Thank you for expert diagnosis of the on-going turmoil I’ve been experiencing this week. I want to wear my cheap black jeans that make my butt sit where it’s supposed to, but the dye runs onto my legs and makes me look like I’ve been up a chimney all day! And I could wear that skirt I’ve got but I can’t bring myself to get out of bed 30 minutes earlier to shave my legs. I mean my boyfriends accepted the fact I’m Helga 3 weeks out of the month why can’t the world!
I will just brandish my blackened hairy legs to the universe and feel the breeze as the hair blows to and fro as I’m walking across this bridge every day and just cheer up! Thank you Sir, Thank you so much!

Has it every occurred to them that I’m happy in my life, that I don’t want them shouting at me in the street? That I might find it offencive? That I don’t find people looking at my boobs ‘flattering’.

And if you’re harbouring a penis and have ever shouted something similar to a girl, what do you have to say for yourself?! Have you got a girlfriend at home? Because I can’t expect for one second that any self-respecting intelligent female would willingly take you into her heart knowing that you would objectify a stranger in such a way! And if she does and she’s one of those modern types who is like ‘totes okies with you looking at other girls lets have a three way and you can film us I promise ill not talk to another man’ shes just really scared you’ll leave her. So please for the sake of ladies of the nation stop HOOTING.
