Introducing, Ghost Paws!

Hey chumps, check out this amazing portrait that my incredibly talented friend Nikki did for me. Nikki has recently set up a new blog called Ghost Paws which you should all go and follow! She is a really good friend of mine and her art is faaaantastic, so keep your eyes peeled for it. Last week, Me, Beth and Nikki got together to make some Halloween cocktails, we have hours of footage of the evening which I'm currently sorting through and putting together. I'll be posting that soon, but be warned, it is full of foul language, sexual innuendo and heavy drinking. Good old wholesome fun!

A new little project.

Evening guys. Tonight I'm going to tell you about a new little project Ive got going on. Basically I work in a place where we print stuff, and our shop just got a new phone case printing machine, it's super awesome. So when it first came in and we were learning how to use it I designed myself a little case to make, here it is. 

I put this photo on my Facebook and Instagram and I got a lot of people asking me how much it would be for one of their own. Which got me thinking, where else have I ever seen this sort of thing done? I mean you see a lot of personalised cases with names on them, but not actual original artist portraits. I love art and I think it should be something that is affordable and accessible by anyone! So I have decided I'm going to start doing these custom cases, it may have to be a limited amount to start off with, because obviously its pretty time consuming and sadly there is only one of me. But I guess we will see how it goes and how popular they are. I will be able to produce cases for iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 3G/3GS, Samsung Galaxy S2 and S3. Sadly we don't have the stuff for the iPhone 5 just yet but I'm lead to believe its on its way. So with some of my birthday money i got a remote for my camera and a new tripod, this is me messing around with it, haha. Im really happy with the way it all works actually, cant wait to use it properly.

Morniiiing. Today I'm sharing with you a portrait i was asked to do by the gorgeous Sarah from NobodyPutsSarahInTheCorner. A few days a go i got an email from the her saying she had seen my portrait of Elycia (which you can see here) and she asked if she could have one! i couldn't wait to get started, she is one of my favourite bloggers, i think we are both very similar. (by that i mean we are both awesome as balls) She is a very genuine lady and i loved working with her, hopefully we might have something else in mind coming up (stay tuned). So she sent me a few pictures of herself, her fur babies and her boyfriend. They both have such beautiful smiles and eyes (girl crush), this was a pleasure to do! favourite blogger portraits.

evening lovers, i've been in a bit of an illustration funk, I'm currently working on illustrating a childrens book, the subjects are pretty tricky, one of the characters is a tractor, and i have never tried doing something like this in my style before, so every time i sit down to get to work, this is what happens!

it is driving me insaaaaane. so, i am procrastinating! yay! i thought i might do a little portrait of my favourite blogger of the moment to get my flow going a bit, so, i did just that! and here she is!
